10. - Video - Floods suck

[Chuck sighs and runs his hands through his hair.]

All right, I have to explain. During the flood I could, for some extremely stupid reason, only speak in movie quotes. If you think it was annoying, you have no idea how I felt. That said, some of what came out of my mouth was not, strictly speaking, true. For example, I was not raised by a crazy Belgian. The truth is actually more complicated than that.

Like, way more complicated.

But whatever. Flood's over. I just thought I owed you guys an explanation.

Well, allow me to welcome you to the Barge! Uh, we get floods every so often...usually they're at least mildly irritating. The ports seem to be okay though.

I've been here a month and I'm still not used to some people not knowing what I mean when I mention Star Wars.

Well that's good. [Slight relief, still wary, but optimistic!] Been through that before, and it did not end up sunshine and puppies.

[INFO: The musical episode of Buffy featured a singing/tapdancing demon named Sweet that made the whole town dance and sing(often with no filter, therefore, secrets galore!), and people danced so much they spontaneously combusted... And Buffy revealed a big secret to all her friends.. That she was in heaven when she died and they had resurrected her from that.]

What, the constant singing? I imagine it'd grate on the nerves a little.

Well, that part was bad enough in itself, but all the spontaneous combustion is where the badness lies.

Yes, that sounds like it would be made of bad.
