02. - Video. - Let it snow!

[Chuck is wearing a jacket and a long-sleeved shirt, which for him is not at all a welcome change from Burbank's near-perpetual t-shirt weather.]

It's kind of weird for me to see snow here - it's pretty rare back home, and I've barely ever left the state before.

Uh, on that note, does anyone have like a scarf or something I can borrow? Or some gloves? 'Cause I was thinking of maybe going up on deck and starting a snowball fight, and, well...frostbite doesn't sound like my idea of a good time.

[Because why not?

OOC: Set before the lies flood.]

[And Velma now too. Okay. Great. Awesome. Awesome. Are you sure that you're not still unconscious on the floor of the Buy More with Shaw standing over you and gloating, Chuck? Because this is weird.]

I think I might be covered on the scarf front, but thanks for the offer!

I'm from L.A., actually. Echo Park. Well, I grew up in Encino, but Echo Park's where I live now...

Christmas in California, huh? It must be nice not to have to battle blizzards and struggle through snowdrifts.

I'm Velma, by the way.

Yeah, but sometimes I wish I had the whole white Christmas experience, you know?

I'm Chuck. Nice to meet you!

[You were always his favorite.]

You're getting one now, at least. ...Sort of.

Yeah, you too, Chuck.

I'm having fun with it. Do you know if the Barge does this random weather thing often?

[identity profile] myglasses.livejournal.com 2010-12-12 03:24 am (UTC)(link)
I've only been here a few weeks so I can't be certain, but last month there were leaves falling on deck. I wouldn't be surprised if the precipitation continued to emulate the appropriate seasonal weather.

[Geek speak!]

Oh, yeah, that would make sense then. No idea how it happens, though. I mean...there have to be trees for leaves, right?

Weird.
